Hey old friends,

Been thinking of ZAPP! Hope the volunteers are well and the zine library is in positive thoughts. I've connected with several zine libraries on the East Coast, and I was wondering if it would be helpful to submit brief case studies to the committee?

Would be interested in hearing an update too!

Square Feet

Hey guys-
At the meeting yesterday, we were trying to figure out how many square feet ZAPP is. Michael Hayes, the facilities manager at Richard Hugo House, just emailed me and said ZAPP is 250-300 square feet.

Emily is kind of spearheading this effort but I thought I could make a thread about it. On either Tuesday, May 14 or Friday, May 24 (we're trying to nail that down), we're getting a low-cost ($30 for 30 minutes I think?) consultation from Shunpike. Keeping Zapp open to public and volunteers

I would really like to keep Zapp open to the public and to volunteers who would like to work there. In the recent Stranger article about Zapp, it was mentioned that Zapp could just use a lump sum of money to kick start itself to a space where this could still happen. I don't how accurate this comment was, but if it was accurate, depending upon how much the sum was, I would be more than willing …
