Keeping Zapp open to public and volunteers

I would really like to keep Zapp open to the public and to volunteers who would like to work there. In the recent Stranger article about Zapp, it was mentioned that Zapp could just use a lump sum of money to kick start itself to a space where this could still happen. I don't how accurate this comment was, but if it was accurate, depending upon how much the sum was, I would be more than willing to donate a large chunk of my disposable income to fund this sort of kickstarter. Zapp is a very worthy cause, and I am prepared to do whatever I can to help keep it open.
